The integrated scanner on your MFP model has detected a media jam. This prevents any further scanning operations until the jammed document is cleared.

Open the scanner lid and carefully inspect the paper path for any jammed documents or foreign objects.

Model-Specific Notes: • T850/T950/Z6 Pro: Inspect the document feeder rollers and separation pad for wear. Clean them with a damp, lint-free cloth. • PageWide XL: For large format scanners, ensure the document guides are correctly set for the media width to prevent skewing and jams. Expert Insight: Always pull jammed media in the direction of the normal paper path to avoid damaging rollers or sensors. Use a flashlight to thoroughly check for small paper fragments. If jams are frequent, consider replacing the document feeder roller kit and separation pad, as they wear over time and lose grip.
