   Remote troubleshooting (call agent) Switch the power off and disconnect the power cord. Remove the Front Window and check for any visible obstacles restricting the movement of the Carriage Motor. If there is a wrinkled mass of Substrate inside the Carriage path, clear the obstruction. Check Substrate weight is not heavier than printer specs. Reconnect the power cord and power on the printer. If the problem persist the call agent should arrange a service engineer visit. Onsite troubleshooting and solution (service engineer) Remove covers and check that the cables from the Carriage Motor located in MPCA board are correctly connected and not damaged. Important note: If any cable is disconnected then reconnect it, and power on the printer again to check whether the system error has disappeared. If any cable is damaged, then replace the Carriage Motor Station assy. · Carriage Motor Station assembly Make sure that the Carriage path is clear. Remove any visible obstacles (screws, plastic parts, etc.) restricting the movement of the Carriage Motor. . Go to the Service Menu (see Entering the Service Menu for Service Engineers on page 315) and run Carriage Test to verify the Carriage motor and replace it if needed. .If the problem persists, replace the Main PCA, see Main PCA (2Y9H0-67016, 2Y9H1-67015, 2Y9H2-67002, 2Y9H3-67003) on page 517. ·Main PCA.
