Service Station Malfunction

Model-Specific Notes: • T-Series (e.g., T930, T1530): These models have a more complex service station. Ensure the printhead cleaning fluid reservoir isn't overfilled or leaking. Check the wiper blades for wear. • Z-Series (e.g., Z6100, Z6600): The service station on these models can accumulate significant ink residue. A thorough cleaning, especially of the capping stations and wipers, is often necessary. Expert Insight: Use a flashlight to inspect the service station thoroughly. Look for excessive dried ink, especially on the printhead caps and wiper blades. Clean with a lint-free cloth and distilled water or printhead cleaning solution. Check the service station motor's connections. Sometimes, manually moving the carriage over the service station (with the printer off) can help identify if the service station is physically stuck. If the motor is faulty, the entire service station assembly usually needs replacement.
