Model-Specific Notes: • T-Series (T1700, T850, T950): These models often have a more integrated boot process. A BIOS error typically points directly to the formatter board. • PageWide XL: Due to their complex architecture, a BIOS error on these models can be particularly challenging and almost always requires formatter board replacement. Expert Insight: For models with a removable CMOS battery, checking its voltage (should be around 3V) can rule out a simple battery issue, though this is less common on newer models. If the printer allows access to a service menu, look for a 'BIOS Recovery' or 'Formatter Reset' option. If the error persists, the formatter board is the most likely component to replace.
